Frog CMS – Light, Fast, Perfect

Author admin    Category Web Development     Tags

I've been using FrogCMS for around 5 months. I've used it on multiple projects and it's never failed me. Frog is extremely light weight, fast loading, and is easier to setup than any other CMS I've ever used.

Built in RSS Feed, Built in Blog, Built in File Manager, and tons of plugins to do literally anything you want from small to large sites.

Rather than assume wordpress is the greatest try out another CMS. I will never use Joomla again, I hate it!

PG-13 Movie Shows Rated R Previews

Author admin    Category Random     Tags

I went to see a movie that was PG-13 and I was excited about it. Then the first preview was from the makers of that terrible movie called the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, it was called Jason. I hate horror movies and I will never understand in my life how anyone could possibly enjoy watching them.

They shouldn't show previews like that at a PG-13 movie. If i took my kids to see a G -Rated Disney movie I would hope they don't show scenes of girls getting undressed or horror to scare my kids.

So I left the movie not because of stubbornness, but because that stuff disturbs me.

WP Review Site Plugin

Author admin    Category Web News     Tags

Noteworth WP Plugin: Take a look, http://www.wpreviewsite.com/

This has to be one of the nicest plugins I've seen released for Wordpress.

You've seen them all over the place, the CSS galleries and rating systems. Now you can make your own easily!
The going price is $97 for a single site license. With a CSS gallery site you could make that back easily in 1-2 months and continue to profit off it just by putting ad-sense on it.

If you are smarter you'll have people paying to put their ads on your site. CSS sites get ranked high and well because people are always looking for galleries. Updating your site is a breeze because you just post cool sites :-)

Firebug Save

Author admin    Category Web Development     Tags

How to Save in Firebug! Firebug is one of the best editing tools for firefox. It will save you literally hundreds of hours on your projects. The only downside is that you can not save! This is why..

If you have javascript or php that generates code, if you tried to save that it would ruin the functions of your parsed pages! But CSS doesn't parse, so there should be a save feature.

1. Get Firebug and also get Web Developer Toolbar,
2. Open up firebug, and open Web Developer toolbar.
3. Select 'Inspect' in firebug, and select an element to edit,
4. Then open WDT, and open CSS > Edit CSS
5. Change a lot of things around, then copy/paste it from Firebug to WDT Edit CSS.
6. Make sure you don't refresh the page before you save!

That will do it for now to Save in Firebug!

NEW Helper Plugin: FireDiff is a plugin for Firefox to show you the difference between items. Get FireDiff for FireFox

YoVille Adds Too many Items

Author admin    Category Yoville     Tags

Yoville is getting slower and slower. Mothers are forgetting to feed their children because of Yoville. It's sad really, it used to load in about 30 seconds a few months ago. There are over 200 items and the more you have in your house the more loading required. Please don't forget to eat food when you play this game for 24 hours straight. You guys are getting greedy from the pig and milking all you can from Yoville! Save your life!!!

The white boards are also a huge lag factor. They have to dynamically load everytime you go into a room. Its a real pain in the neck! :-( YoVille is banned from schools! Teachers are concerned that kids are spending too much time on these dangerous games like YoVille.

This is starting to look like a cheap flash game thats going to break, hopefully they increase the way the game runs. When they come out with Yoville babies, they will require so much attention everyday to grow that the game needs to run fast!

Yoville will die unless you people stop spending your coins collecting rare items!
