1. Stardock Fences - Have a cluttered desktop? This beautiful piece of software lets you create little fences, or boxes around designated areas and name and customize them. You have to see the video and try it to appreciate it - it's much better than the name sounds!

2. Taskbar Shuffle - Don't underestimate these little add-ons, this is a big convenience when you like your task bar items arranged a certain way. Just drag and drop and move them!

3. Pidgin - This is the best instant messenger I've used. It supports Yahoo, MSN, AIM, Google Talk, and a few others.

This has to be one of the nicest plugins I've seen released for Wordpress.

You've seen them all over the place, the CSS galleries and rating systems. Now you can make your own easily!
The going price is $97 for a single site license. With a CSS gallery site you could make that back easily in 1-2 months and continue to profit off it just by putting ad-sense on it.

If you are smarter you'll have people paying to put their ads on your site. CSS sites get ranked high and well because people are always looking for galleries. Updating your site is a breeze because you just post cool sites :-)

I've used a lot of the lower end hosts with the default CPanel, but I have never once found a host as good as Aplus.net. They have been relentlessly reliable for all those years. I am already setup with several domains and have quite a bit installed and a few gigabytes uploaded, but once I saw their upgraded plans I already have planned to switch back to them even though it's going to take a few days to re-upload and re-configural several large sites.

I am not exaggerating, I don't work for Aplus (Im actually a freelance programmer), and I make no commission off posting this. If my clients dont have a host I refer them to Aplus because they are ridiculously good. They are about 2 dollars more than the average bottom-dollar host but everything about them is better from the control panel, ease of management, reliability, tech support, and even the individual domain name setup.

So if you are ever looking for a host and think the "unlimited everything" is the best, make sure to check Aplus. I don't often write about companies but I've always loved their services and they do things right so I might as well spread a good work about my experiences with them.

Get "Malware Bytes" (it’s free) and do a quick system scan and you’ll have about 7 or more viruses. Then once you reboot to clear other viruses it will keep going slow again, scan again and reboot again. Also get “Process Explorer” to see if any weird system processes are running (PE is better than Task Manager). You should be good after that but use firefox not IE7, I am still solving how to fix IE7 which keeps getting the infection.

The infection will create a file with about 8-12 random characters in your Windows/System32 folder. It will come up when you scan with Malware Bytes, that is the file that keep's relaunching itself once it's erased, so if Malware doesn't erase it after 2 reboots and 2 scans go to the far right tab in Malware Bytes to use FileASSASIN and forcibly remove the file and reboot.

Why are people doing this? Only to make money off ads. It's clever, but if some of these sites need original content. If you do a simple search for MySpace Layout you'll be cluttered with 100's of domain names and titles trying to get to the top with the right keyword weight on the main page.

The worry is that the entire web will be filled with duplicate content, afterall google only scans content. Eventually when you develop some free things for faithful fans on your site it could get turned distributed among these free ad farms only to make your work come to no return, unless you are linked in.

I guess the question is when will it be too much? Free Icons, Free Templates, Free Graphics. There is going to have to be some serious developers who can create unique websites before everything becomes too easy and free.

It seems the mess of all these sites started once social networking became large. I think it's getting messy and I really hope it gets cleaned up but I see no way of cycling through artwork and files.

Twitter is a Page Rank 8 site, Alexa Rank of 669, with 50% of users are in USA. with over 1.2 million users a month. At some point I would think Twitter will start placing a few ads on their site, as of now they have none.

If they simply put AdSense on Twitter they could make atleast $100,000 a month with those type of statistics and smart ad placement. The question is will they, and when? I'm sure they've thought about it but who's paying for the hosting out of their own pocket?
