YoVille is Killing Youth

Author admin    Category Yoville     Tags

The daunting truth about Yoville is horrifying. Yoville is killing our children, Yoville is killing our youth. Rather than go outside and play with a ball and get normal healthy exercise, people are spending an average of 4 hours straight a day on Yoville. The more extreme examples can spend anywhere from 8 to 14 hours straight on Yoville.

Yoville is making young kids obese. The creators of Yoville have made a game that never ends. No matter how long you play, you can always get more. And kids can't stop playing it, nor can adults!

In the past 20 years the obesity rate for USA has gone from averaging under 10% of all citizens to a whopping 25%. Twenty Five Percent of ALL USA citizens are OBESE! That means they will live a much shorter life and less enjoyable life. This can be easily explained to the use of the internet, and Yoville. Yoville will claim more than 100 lives a year at this rate and young people will die sooner than expected.

Smoking is bad but so is Yoville. The game causes blindness from long hours of staring at the computer, obesity from inactivity, and is more addicting than nicotine in cigarettes.

While there is still breathe in our bodies we should be stopping this pandamonium. I expect Yoville to cause over 1,000 deaths this year alone from: Depression, Obesity, and Social Trauma.

If you know of anyone caught in the endless lie of this game please unplug the internet before they lose these precious years of their life. The numbers are growing daily - Don't let an entire generation fall victim to Yoville.

Yoville, just like any other game or addiction as some may call it is not bad only if used in moderation. for those who enjoy the game and dont make it ther primary life yes i can see how it would help some one who is not a very social person. then again for example. my wife has been playing yoville for almost 2 years straight. some times up to 38 hours straight. she is one of the most well known yo characters ther is. she has almost 50 different accounts. she is 23 yrs old has a daughter not to mention me and other family. she has a yo husband that im not allowed to get upset about because its just a game. however her yo husband is a real person in another state. i could understand it because it is a game but when it is a daily thing where u spend on average of 18 hours a day and do not even say hello to your 4 yr old daughter after not seeing her for 2 days. i feel that this particular case is no better than some one that drinks gallons of liquor a day or shoots up or anything of that nature. an addiction is an addiction. no offense to those of you who make yoville a secondary thing in your life. but if it is your primary life and you are willing to give up everything else in your life such as a six year marriage and you entire family….. you need help. for all yo people if you know krazy em this is truly how it is. help her. i would also like to try to form a ban to limit all yo accounts to a time limit per 24 hour intervals. if any one has any ideas or would like to become a part of this send me an email. chipectr@yahoo.com

Wait, why is this any worse than any other online game?

Some people have addictive personalities; they will addict to anything.

It’s really up to the parents to make sure kids go out and have fresh air and exercise. At least playing (and in) YV they’re not in gangs or doing drugs. Its good to warn parents who never thought of that, I guess, but to make YV seem more dangerous than any other online computer game seems kinda overblowing it to me. Does anybody remember those who called EverQuest “EverCrack?” Eventually people got bored with it and moved on with their lives. Same with World of Warcraft (“World of WarCrack”).

In YoVille, there’s no violence, and I’d rather have kids playing that than the gun-related or car theft games that are out there. At least there’s some better social values going on in YoVille, and some attempt to encourage something other than murder or felonies. Why pick on YoVille? Again, something about this article just seems inflammatory and disingenuous to me.

Quit getting all bent out of shape about the little things and yelling “the sky is falling” every time someone in your family finds some new thing more interesting than you. And buying a digital couch for 2 bucks is a lot less destructive than spending it on booze and drinking yourself to death. Get some perspective and chill out.

    This too shall pass.

I’m A YoVille addict and I am proud!
haha. I love it,i dont know what I would do without it. It has changed they way i am socially.
So I may not be who i am today without it. I’m and 08 player. Going on 4 years. I get on almost every six hours. I used to be a “hacker” i guess you would say,but I decided it was a waste of time. lol. I have probably waste up to 170 real dollars on this game to buy yocash :)
But I love it. It’s like life within a life.
    My ultimate fantasy.
